Paul's Letter to the

COLOSSIANS

1.   인사말

1.   From Paul, who by God's will is an apostle of Christ Jesus, and from our brother Timothy-

     하느님의 뜻에 따라 그리스도 예수님의 사도가 된 바오로와 티모테오 형제가

2.   To God's people in Colossae, who are our faithful friend in union with Christ; May God our Father give you grace and peace.

콜로새에 있는 성도들 곧 그리스도 안에서 사는 형제 신자들에게 인사 합니다.   하느님 우리 아버지에게서 은총과 평화가 여러분에게 내리기를 기원 합니다.

Prayer of Thanksgiving (감사의 기도)

3.   We always give thanks to God, the Father of our Lady Jesus Christ, when we pray for you.

우리는 여러분을 위하여 기도할 때면 늘 우리 주 예수 그리스도의 아버지 하느님께 감사를 드립니다.

4.   For we have heard of your faith in Christ Jesus and of your love for all God's people.

그리스도 예수님에 대한 여러분의 믿음과 모든 성도를 향한 여러분의 사랑을 우리가 전해 들었기 때문입니다.

5.   When the true message, the Good News, frist came to you, you heard about the hope it offers.   So your faith and love are based on what you hope for, which is kept safe for you in heaven.

그 믿음과 사랑은 여러분을 위하여 하늘에 마련되어 있는 것에 대한 희망에 근거합니다.   이 희망은 여러분이 진리의 말씀 곧 복음을 통하여 이미 들은 것입니다.

6.   The gospel keeps bringing blessing and is spreading throughout the world, just as it has among you ever since the day you first heard about the grace of God and came to know it as it really is.

이 복음은 여러분에게 다다라 여러분이 그 진리 안에서 하느님의 은총을 듣고 깨달은 날부터, 온 세상에서 그러하듯이 여러분에게도 열매를 맺고 자라고 있습니다.

7.   You learned of God's grace from Epaphras, our dear fellow servant, who is Christ's faithful worker on our behalf.

여러분은 하느님의 그 은총을 우리가 사랑하는 동료 종 에파프라스에게 배웠습니다.   그는 여러분을 위하여 일하는 그리스도의 충실한 일꾼이며,

8.   He has told us of the love that the Spirit has given you.

성령 안에서 이루어지는 여러분의 사랑을 우리에게 알려 준 사람입니다.
